About the Role

Harrison Bernstein is a Kent-based practice with a lean senior team, dedicated offshore support, and an unusual edge: our own in-house technology division building an AI-native accounting platform and client-facing AI agent from the ground up. You will not just be told “we use the latest tools” — you will have the opportunity to work alongside the engineers who build them, shaping workflows that do not exist yet.

You will take full ownership of two large multi-entity client groups — think multi-unit franchise operators and commercial trading groups — plus a handful of smaller groups and companies. Consolidated reporting, intercompany reconciliations, group management accounts, and statutory and tax compliance coordinated directly with the Lead Accountant/Partner.

You will also manage and mentor junior staff, liaise directly with clients' finance teams, and have real input into how the firm grows, both operationally and technically. This is a hybrid role with regular travel to client sites across Kent, Gravesend and London.

We are a forward-thinking firm building for where the profession is heading, not where it has been. For the right person, this role offers long-term progression including potential profit share.
